One of the crappiest (and rewarding) projects I’ve ever worked on, and all for The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s noble initiative to reinvent the toilet as we know it. Four out of ten people worldwide don’t have a safe, sanitary place to poop, and upwards of 1.5 million children world wide die each year as a result. We can do better.
