Professional fundraising auctioneer, Laura Michalek approached me with an image of herself she hoped to apply to a new set of business papers which reminded her of the great photographer Richard Avedon’s work – a unique and distinctive image that at first blush may seem an odd choice for business papers. But, Laura is no ordinary auctioneer and is widely known for her distinct flair, strong personality and savvy approach to fundraising.

So, I embraced the Avedon reference and created a set of materials with a classic fashion magazine influence, utilizing a silver metallic ink alongside a hot flourescent orangish pink, applied to business cards, letterhead, postcards, and magnetic badges.
